The Operator Notes
Observations and conversations about the work no one posts online.

Hi, I'm Osaze
Hospitality businesses are often experienced publicly, but rarely understood operationally.
Some of the most important parts of this industry, the pressure, the systems, and the invisible work behind keeping these businesses running, rarely get documented at all.
My first attempt at building a business was in hospitality. The idea didn't fail because it was bad. It failed because I didn't have access to the stories of other hospitality entrepreneurs. No honest breakdowns. No postmortems. No visibility into what it actually takes to keep these businesses running.
Years later, I realised many spa and salon operators are still building the same way, in isolation.
So I started paying close attention to this industry. Documenting what I observe, learning from operators willing to share their experience, and making the realities of running these businesses visible.
Not advice. Not coaching. Just honest documentation of what this work actually looks like.
